McIntosh Homes, LLC is a woman-owned, women-led design and build company based in Madison, Wisconsin. We are dedicated to creating high-quality new homes, offering remodeling services, and providing in-house real estate support — all under one roof. Our goal is to make the process of building or remodeling a home clear, organized, and enjoyable, while delivering exceptional craftsmanship and lasting value.
Our History
Founded in 2013 as CLE Consulting, LLC, the company built a strong foundation in construction and client service. In 2019, Dawn McIntosh took ownership and grew the business significantly, expanding both the scope of projects and the level of client care.
In 2025, Dawn partnered with Mylinda Heil, combining decades of experience in construction, project management, and real estate to form McIntosh Homes, LLC. The new name reflects a new era — one defined by collaboration, trust, and a shared commitment to helping clients realize their vision.

At McIntosh Homes, we guide clients through every step of their home journey — from purchasing a lot and designing floor plans to construction execution, finishing touches, and even selling a previous home. We work closely with clients on every design decision, keep projects organized, on schedule, and on budget, and collaborate with trades on site to ensure every detail is executed with care.

Dawn McIntosh is the President & Co-owner of McIntosh Homes LLC, a woman-owned construction company built on the values of integrity, craftsmanship, and vision. With years of experience in residential construction and community development, Dawn has led her company through an exciting rebrand from CLE Consulting LLC to McIntosh Homes LLC—reflecting her commitment to creating homes that are as unique as the families who live in them.
Known for her eye for design and attention to detail, Dawn blends traditional craftsmanship with modern building practices to deliver homes that are not only structurally sound but also warm, elegant, and tailored to her clients’ lifestyles. She has a passion for bringing ideas to life—whether that’s helping clients design their dream home, building on new lots in growing neighborhoods, or guiding families through every step of the construction process.
Beyond building houses, Dawn’s mission is to build trust and long-lasting relationships with her clients, subcontractors, and community partners. Dawn McIntosh
Mylinda Heil is a project manager and builder with a practical, hands-on approach to guiding clients through the home creation process-- from lot selection and plan layout to construction and move-in. As co-founder of a woman-owned design and build company in Madison, Wisconsin, she brings organization, clear communication, and genuine care to every project she leads.
With a background in engineering, project oversight, and real estate, Mylinda combines technical precision with a deep understanding of how to make the homebuilding experience smooth and rewarding. She enjoys helping clients make informed decisions that balance design, function, and budget — turning ideas into well-built, thoughtfully planned homes.
Beyond her professional work, Mylinda is active in the community, coaching Special Olympics swimming. She values collaboration, lifelong learning, and the lasting connections built along the way.
When she’s not managing projects or coaching, Mylinda enjoys traveling and spending time with her family, often near the water.
